“Our New 3150 Series Expansion Joints and BSD Speclink Were Very Well Received By Our Customers,” said Stephanie Scully, Regional Sales Manager

Kelco/Flex-Weld had a productive appearance at the 2020 AHR Expo where, over the three-day convention, the company featured new products and services available to HVACR professionals.

CEO Kevin Kelly, Engineering Manager Don Grandt, and Regional Sales Manager Stephanie Scully met with manufacturer representatives, customers, engineers and other HVACR professionals to share the excitement about Kelco’s new branding. “It was the perfect opportunity to personally reach our customers,” said Scully.

The trio of executives highlighted Kelco’s 3150 Series Expansion Joints, a new product designed to compensate for thermal growth in piping systems. The expansion joints are compact, and feature a shorter length which makes them a good fit for tight applications. Scully added, “The 3150 Series fits a need in the market and was well received at the expo.”

Manufacturer representatives were also excited about Kelco’s new BSD Speclink, which is a service subscribed to by engineers when putting together specs for a new project. The database allows them access to specifications for products they can incorporate into their project development. “The BSD Speclink gives Kelco more visibility in the marketplace with consultants and engineers, and the opportunity to become involved in projects at an earlier stage,” Scully explained. “Our reps were very excited about this, and we expect more inquiries about the BSD Speclink.”

Kelco/Flex-Weld plans to attend the expo again next year in Chicago, where Scully looks forward to building on the international contacts she made at this year’s convention in Orlando. “Of course, we will miss the beautiful weather,” she added.
